RESUME
L’éducation physique et sportive (E.P.S) est un enseignement dont les moyens utilisés sont les activités physiques, sportives et artistiques (A.P.S.A) et qui a pour objectif l’éducation et l’entretien du physique et du psychique de l’apprenant.
La pratique de cet enseignement, notamment dans le cadre scolaire, n’est possible et efficace que par l’utilisation de structures et infrastructures appropriées. Or, plusieurs établissements scolaires secondaires au Gabon, si ce n’est la quasi-totalité, sont en déficit ou n’en disposent pas.
Ainsi notre idée directrice postule que le déficit de structures et d’infrastructures sportives appropriées ne favorise pas la socialisation des élèves à l’éducation physique et sportive et, partant, à leur établissement scolaire.

ABSTRACT
Physical and sports education (E.P.S) is an education whose means used are physical, sporting and artistic activities (A.P.S.A) and which aims to educate and maintain the physical and mental health of learner.
The practice of this teaching, particularly in the school setting, is only possible and effective through the use of appropriate structures and infrastructures. However, several secondary schools in Gabon, if not almost all, are in deficit or do not have one.
Thus our guiding idea postulates that the lack of appropriate sports structures and infrastructures does not promote the socialization of students to physical education and sports and, therefore, to their school establishment.
